Following on from the fantastic 2010 race we are pleased to announce that the 2011 Grimsthorpe Half Marathon will take place on Sunday 14th August at Grimsthorpe Castle in Lincolnshire. (www.grimsthorpe.co.uk) A mid morning start (exact time to be confirmed) will see runners complete 13.1 miles on an inspiring route that captures the imagination in some of Lincolnshire’s most beautiful surroundings. The finish line welcomes runners directly in front of the castle itself. Marshals will provide water at checkpoints every 3- 4 miles. Toilet facilities and car parking will be provided. Please be aware that non-competitors will be required to pay £5 each to enter the Grimsthorpe estate.

Grimsthorpe Half Marathon competitors must be at least 18 years of age on the day of the race.
